About

America is in the throes of a civil war that has been percolating since the late 1950s. By the grace of God, it has not yet reached the point of cannons, cavalries, and foot soldiers indiscriminately killing every man, woman, and child standing in the way of America’s overthrow. Yet. To be sure, violence, death, and mayhem has been on the rise for 3 generations now, but we have not yet reached that point beyond which there can be no turning back. Blame can be rightly laid at the feet of many things, and this community is being brought together to identify them, understand them, and seek out lasting solutions that serve the greater good of the American people, in particular, and the lovers of freedom around the world in general. 

On a personal note, I am a 3-stroke survivor that has been left blind and unable to read or write as a result of them. I am a Writer, Author, Hermit & Unwashed Philosopher that has committed my remaining years to helping stem this tidal wave of ignorance, misplaced vitriol, and uninformed acts of National self-destruction. I was born and grew up in the Nation’s Capitol. I was raised, and learned about the world and how to survive in it, by a long line of God-fearing Appalachians who were here long before the Founding Fathers. I have been to every state in the Continental Union, and have traveled well enough, internationally, to know one very simple truth: We are all God’s children and each of us, at our core, wants the same thing - Peace, Security, Family, and self-determination… something I like to call"Individual Sovereignty". 

The community rules are simple: Bring the truth, defend the truth, and be willing to subject yourself to the truth. Personal attacks and / or threats of violence to each other, or anyone else, are not welcome here and will not be tolerated, and serve no greater purpose toward getting to the truth. Your political affiliation is of no significance in this community; republican or Democrat, liberal or conservative, independent or agnostic party affiliations mean nothing here. The rot spreading in America has nothing to do with ideologies, races, or genders but has everything to do with the war between the governing and the governed. Think and act accordingly. 

In partnership with my contributing author, “Vassar Bushmills” I wrote a book called “Unwashed Philosophy: A User’s Guide To Our Imperfect Union” (available on Amazon) which inspired the creation of this community, and my refusal to give up despite my personal challenges drives my determination to contribute in any small way I can, god willing, to the effort to turn this whole mess around before it’s too late. Our working motto here, going forward, came to me during the long journey of Occupational Therapy: 

“It’s what we can’t see that truly gives us vision.”
